We take fun seriously at Lake Effect Entertainment, but more important than fun is catering to the needs of you and your event ideas. If you're getting married and you want a flawless, exciting reception, or if you're someone looking to make the next birthday party a little more fun, we're ready to help. Our talented DJs are equally professional MCs trained to keep the event moving at the pace you want. Our music library spans 8 decades and is always being updated with the latest hits weekly, so you can have confidence in a variety of music throughout the night. We offer a variety of options for lighting, including uplighting, from basic color changing wash lights, to full computer controlled lighting that plays along with the music. The new online event planning system we offer helps everyone stay organized and in the loop about when and how things should happen.
The standard entertainment package that we offer covers everything you need for a fun, entertaining, unique wedding reception. We bring a top quality sound system with wireless microphone as well as an all LED dance floor light system to make sure that everyone knows where the fun is happening. Our music library is second to none, including the Billboard top 100 from every year that they assembled one and all of today's biggest hits. We don't stream music or play YouTube videos because it's not reliable. We own our music and are happy to get the music you would like for your reception if we don't already have it. Our MCs are trained professionals who take the job of fun seriously. We make it our duty to move the events of the reception forward at the pace you want so there is no boring dead time that makes guests want to leave. We take requests within any parameters you set - so if there are songs you don't want to hear on your wedding day, we won't play them. At very least our library is radio edited. As a matter of fact, we use the same music source as Ryan Seacrest does for his weekly top 40 show.
We know how to provide an exciting night for your students while accommodating your needs as a school. With an extensive collection of modern music that has been edited for radio play, it's incredibly easy to keep things appropriate for any age group. We have experience with Sadie Hawkins dances, homecoming, prom, and more! High energy lighting can also be added to give the dance floor a "club-like" feel that is sure to dazzle students all night long and large, powerful subwoofers help everyone feel the music a little better.
Our uplights contain red, green, blue, amber, and white LEDs meaning recreating any color is not only possible, but incredibly easy. They are a hybrid wired/wireless and feature a slim profile, so we can place them just about anywhere and make the room fill with color. We have a few options depending on how thorough you want to be with your lighting. You may keep it simple with the static color option where we "set it and forget it" with one color or alternating colors to match your decor. To add an incredible amount of energy to the room, consider adding the ability for the lights to be computer controlled. The lights will match the mood of the room throughout the night, with nice soft fades and ambient lighting during cocktail and dinner hour until the dance floor opens when the colors rapidly change and strobe to the music!
Our photobooth can operate either as a "traditional" photobooth with an enclosure with a curtain, or as an open air booth to let more folks in on the fun. Each sitting gets 2 photo strips with 4 poses each, and the top of the strip can be customized as well, so it can contain whatever message you'd like. Our booth is attendant operated so there is always someone there to make sure everything is going to plan and moving forward smoothly. There is no limit to the number of sittings per session.
We offer ceremony sound services for purposes such as processional and recessional music or a microphone for your ceremony officiant. Our ceremony system is small and discrete so we can be set-up virtually anywhere.
Large format video projection services can be added to any package or contracted out as a standalone service. We also offer projector/screen rentals for meetings or functions with A/V needs.
